About
Carson Young is a Brooklyn-based pianist and educator in the greater NYC area. In addition to his newly released record, "Feeling it Now," he holds a Master's degree from the City College of New York where he studied with Bruce Barth, Ray Gallon, Steve Wilson, and Mike Holober. He also has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee where he studied with former Jazz Messenger Donald Brown. Carson is sure to impress listeners with his unique originals featuring a heavy blues emphasis and bebop presence.
